how it's organized

Four different problems, four families of sound.

This isn't a playlist meant to be played in order. It's a small toolbox: pick based on what's happening to you right now, not on what you think you "should" be listening to.

Start

When the problem isn't working, it's starting. Short tracks, 2 to 5 minutes.

Deep Focus

When the problem is staying. Long sound beds, built to fade into the background.

Calm

When the problem is overwhelm. Built to help you decompress, not to be productive.

Reset

When the problem is switching off. For the 5-10 minutes between one session and the next.

An honest note. The science on brown noise and binaural beats is still limited — most of what's out there, even the viral stuff on TikTok and Reddit, is anecdotal. This kit isn't a substitute for therapy, a clinical assessment, or medication. That said: for a lot of people with ADHD, anxiety, or trouble getting started, having a steady sensory structure to lean on really does help break the inertia. Try every track, keep the ones that work for you, and skip the rest without guilt.

Start

01 · 3 tracks

For the hardest minutes: the ones before you start. Built to be short and end on their own, so you don't have to decide when to switch them off.

Deep Focus

02 · 6 tracks

For staying inside the task. Sounds built to become background, not the main event — works well alongside whatever pomodoro timer you're already using.

Calm

03 · 4 tracks

Not for working — for decompressing before you can. For the moments when your head is too full and the first step is simply slowing down.

Reset

04 · 2 tracks

For the 5-10 minutes between one work session and the next, or to clearly mark that a session is over.

to support your focus kit

How to pair it with the timer you already use.

This kit doesn't replace your pomodoro timer or your Focus Kit — it works alongside it. The two tools deliberately don't talk to each other: less to configure, less friction between you and starting a task.

BEFORE YOU START

Start the sound before the timer

Hit play on a Start track before you even set the timer. Often just getting through the first 2 minutes is enough to break the block.

DURING THE BLOCK

Pick based on the length

25-minute pomodoro? Try «One Pomodoro» — it ends exactly when you do. Longer sessions? «Brown Noise» or «Quiet Room» hold up well past 45 minutes.

BETWEEN BLOCKS

Use Reset for breaks

«Interval» signals the break without putting you to sleep; «Session End» closes out the work day cleanly.

OUTSIDE A SESSION

Calm doesn't wait for the timer

If overwhelm hits outside a work block, the Calm tracks work on their own, timer or no timer.

🎧 Tracks with the headphone icon use binaural beats: you need stereo headphones, not your phone speaker, to actually hear the effect.
